Matches
are to start no later than 8.30pm
Open
Board no later than 8.00pm
WINNERS
are the first team to score FIVE points
Match
Format and order of play for all games is: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
2 x
1 leg games with teams of 3 players from each side x 701
Each team captain will write six players names on paper – These will then be
numbered from 1 to 6
The opposing
captain will draw the names out by using playing cards numbered from 1 to 6
The first
three names drawn will constitute the first team of three and the players drawn
from 4 to 6 the second team of three. Order drawn will also be the order of
throwing and first three drawn will play the first team of three on the
opposing side and players drawn 4 to 6 likewise.
The opposition
teams will be drawn in the same way

x 1 leg games with teams of 4 players from each side x 801
The method of
draw will be the same as the threes but adding the additional two players
required.
4
x Best of 3 leg games with teams of 2 players from each side x 501
The method of draw is the same as fours but teams split into pairs by the draw
When
a playing pair wins 2 legs the game shall be deemed over and the winning pair
will be awarded
ONE point which will be added to the teams running match total. If third leg is
required, teams will toss for First Throw

x 1 leg game with teams of 8 players from each side x 1001
Eight players names from each side will be written on paper and order of
throwers will be drawn
All
games to be Straight Start and Double Finish
Toss coin for first throw in first leg and then alternate teams take first throw
– toss again for ninth game (Eight’s) if last leg is necessary as decider
Result cards must be completed as per league games and are the responsibility of
Home Team. Callers and Chalkers will be one from each team for each
game.
Remember to keep games
going at all times – If match goes the whole way to straight eight deciding leg,
match could be difficult to finish if you let time lapse in between games –
